5th February 2025 Anniversary Giveaway: Win A Finland Care Package & Alan Wake 2's AHMA Can!

Yesterday marked The Sudden Stop's thirteenth anniversary! I don't know about you, but it feels like the perfect excuse for a little giveaway. So let's do one! As Finnish culture plays a huge part in Alan Wake 2, we've put together a care package of some delicious Finnish goodies, and packed in a can of AHMA beer for your collection.

Please Note: To follow international posting regulations, please note that the can will be empty and washed ready to be displayed. We're unable to send over any alcohol internationally, so it's the only way to ensure the can reaches you.

Now, about that can? Last year, Remedy teamed up with a local company to bring AHMA, the sauna lager from Alan Wake 2, to life. Brewed by the award-winning Lapland-based company Tornion Panimo, AHMA can be found in K-Ruoka and S-Kaupat stores, as well as Alko. At present, the cans are only available in Finland and only in select stores. Each can is made with Lapland water, barley malt, hops, and yeast. The collaboration was made with AHMA BRÄNDI, a new trademark of Remedy Entertainment Oyj.

For the prize, we are giving away a Finnish gift box complete with AHMA can.

If you like to try new snacks, this is a giveaway perfect for you. We've put together a care package of different Finnish chocolates and bundled them with a genuine Alan Wake 2-recreated AHMA can. The only place you can get these cans currently is at select stores in Finland, brewed locally. 

The full box contains: a gift box of Fazer Blue milk chocolate (very classic), Fazer Domino bites (chocolate and vanilla), Fazer Green Jellies (seasonal), Fazer Kismet bar, Fazer Chocolate Truffle bar, Fazer Pätkis Twin Bar, and the Tornion Panimo AHMA beer can. 

The giveaway will end on Friday, February 21st 2025, at 11:59PM UTC.

For this giveaway, there will be one (1) winner who will be selected at random from valid entries.

How To Enter:

For the giveaway, we want to hear about the Remedy achievement that you're the most proud of. This can be as simple as finishing a game, collecting all 100 thermoses, or defeating a specific boss. Let us know, and you might be receiving a box of goodies direct to your door.

Giveaway Rules:

1. The prize was bought by The Sudden Stop as part of a community giveaway.

3. One entry per person.
4. This is open worldwide, but restrictions may apply to countries with limits on internet competitions or giveaways.
5. The beer can will be empty due to international posting laws and will be ready for your display.
6. Entry to the giveaway is free.
7. No cash prize alternative will be available.
8. A new winner may be picked if the first does not respond to the email after two weeks of the original email being sent. However, this is only a last resort after three weeks with reminders and alternative methods of communication e.g. through social media posts.
