We made it through the longest month and there's now more good news! Throughout this weekend, the first three hours of Alan Wake 2 will be available for free to all Xbox players.
The game is part of the new Free Play Days campaign, which includes Sword Art Online: Fractured Daydream and The Survivalists. Unlike the other games being offered, Alan Wake 2 doesn't require an Xbox subscription to check it out, but it will have timed access.
It takes roughly nineteen hours to play through the entire game, the three hours give a generous previous of the set-up and what mysterious players can look forward to unravelling as they dive deeper.
If you make the decision to purchase the game, Alan Wake 2 Deluxe Edition is currently half price on the Xbox Store. The pack comes with both story expansions; Night Springs and The Lake House, plus a number of exclusive digital unlockable including new outfits.
Free Play Days ends on Monday, February 3rd at 07:00 UTC.
