Mark your calendars! This Thursday, Xbox will go live with their next Partner Preview, a showcase of upcoming titles, with a feature on Alan Wake 2's next story expansion, The Lake House.
Scheduled for an October release, The Lake House follows the story of a new protagonist, FBC Agent Kiran Estevez (Janina Gavankar). Running parallel to the events of the sequel, Estevez is able to gain access to the Bright Falls research station left in devastation following a recorded “catastrophic event”. Through a series of reckless experiments, the line between reality and the Dark Place has now become blurred.
While the October release was mentioned well in advanced, we heard the first details of the expansion through last month's State of Play, which confirmed the release month, provided a new trailer, and gave us a sneak peek at the premise. With the October days counting down, make sure to tune into the Xbox Partner Preview on Thursday for what could be the final spotlight for the game before launch.
