Streetwear and Alan Wake 2 Collide in the Makia / Alan Wake – Stories from Darkness Collection, Out Now
Mixing Makia Clothing’s minimalist design and Remedy Entertainment's iconic art, the collaboration celebrates Alan Wake 2's launch.
(Helsinki, Finland – October 27, 2023) Remedy Entertainment, one of Finland's most internationally successful game studios, and Makia Clothing, a Helsinki-based contemporary clothing brand, have teamed up to release the Makia / Alan Wake – Stories from Darkness collection. This collaborative collection celebrates the highly anticipated video game sequel, Alan Wake 2, and coincides with the game's global release on October 27, 2023. Combining streetwear design and horror imagery inspired by the game's series, the unisex clothing collection consists of organic cotton jersey products, such as t-shirts, long-sleeved shirts, a hoodie, and a coach jacket.

Nicknamed ‘The Cult Collection’, the collaboration’s prints feature distinctive imagery from Alan Wake 2, especially those associated with the enigmatic Cult of Tree. This imagery includes the cult's infamous double triangle emblem and the deer masks worn by cultists seen in Alan Wake 2. For fans of the Alan Wake series, this collection is more than just clothing: it's an opportunity to wear your passion.

The collection will be available on October 27 in Makia's concept stores located in Helsinki (Lasipalatsi), Raisio (shopping center Mylly), and Oulu (shopping center Valkea).

Listed among the year's most anticipated games, Alan Wake 2 sees the actors Ilkka Villi and Matthew Porretta reprising their role as Alan Wake – alongside Melanie Liburd, the British actress from Game of Thornes, and Peter Franzén, who performs in a double role in the game. With its ambitious scope, Alan Wake 2 ranks among Finland's most significant entertainment productions.
