Over the weekend, Remedy released an update for Alan Wake 2, covering all three platforms. The patch saw general bug fixes in the adventure alongside corrections to the localisation.
If you are playing the game on Xbox, it will definitely be worth double-checking that you are running the latest version before you dive into your next session. For that console, Remedy has fixed visual issues, UI-related issues, and problems with interactions. They also released a patch this evening covering additional fixes for the title.

However, the new 1.0.0.7 Xbox update does fix the bug that some players had encountered that prevented them from collecting an achievement after acquiring all weapons.
