NVIDIA was back at Gamescom this year with a series of brand-new reveals, many of them with Alan Wake 2 in the spotlight!

NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 & NVIDIA Reflex
Alongside the reveal, we also heard from a number of developers, including Tatu Aalto (Lead Graphics Programmer at Remedy), who said that “the new Ray Reconstruction feature in DLSS 3.5 renders our fully ray-traced world more beautifully than ever before, bringing you deeper into the story of Alan Wake 2”
Nvidia has revealed that Alan Wake 2 will launch with support for the NVIDIA DLSS 3.5, a new version of their GPU tool that enhances ray tracing abilities by using Ray Reconstruction.

Our tweed-wearing writer won't be alone either. Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, Portal with RTX, Ominiverse Platform, Chaos Vantage and DS Render will also be adding support for the DLSS 3.5 this autumn.

GeForce NOW Catalogue
On August 24th, Remedy and NVIDIA announced that Alan Wake 2 will be added to the GeForce NOW catalogue, a cloud gaming system with over 1500 titles already available to play. The game will be ready to play from launch day on October 27th.
The service is a pretty impressive system, allowing gamers who don't have the technology to run the games directly to a device of their choice and experience the latest adventures. It might also be a good option for virtual photographers who want to delve into gorgeous scenery but can't afford or find the right set-up.

Custom GeForce RTX 4090 Giveaway
During Gamescom, NVIDIA announced their latest giveaway, with one lucky winner set to be selected to win a special GeForce RTX 4090 with a custom Alan Wake 2 backplate.
