Next week, Remedy's Creative Director, Sam Lake, will be in attendance at the Golden Joysticks Awards 2022, to present the Best Storytelling Award.
This year marks the 40th anniversary of the Golden Joystick Awards, which will be broadcast on YouTube and Twitch on Tuesday, November 22nd at 8pm GMT. The ceremony is the longest-running publically-voted game awards which, this year, features over seventy games nominated across seventeen categories.
Sam will be presenting the Best Storytelling category, which featured nominated titles; IMMORTALITY (Sam Barlow), Return to Monkey Island (Terrible Toybox), Horizon Forbidden West (Guerrilla Games), NORCO (Geography of Robots), I Was A Teenage Exocolonist (Northway Games), and Wayward Strand (ghost pattern).
The Best Storytelling award isn't the only one that Remedy fans should keep an eye on, with Alan Wake 2 Reveal Trailer nominated in the Best Game Trailer category. Fingers crossed!
