For the past twenty-five years, it has always been Remedy's policy to playtest games internally. Sometimes offers would extend to family members or friends, but the studio never really allowed those who weren't already connected to the company in some way... until recently.
Remedy recently put out a call for those interested in playtesting their upcoming adventures, but there are some criteria that you have to meet...
Firstly, they are looking for playtesters who currently live in Finland and are over the age of eighteen. With Covid restrictions still in place, you will also need a PC, a webcam, and a microphone. Once restrictions are lifted, playtesting will take place at the Remedy offices in Espoo. Naturally, as part of the process, you will need to sign an NDA (non-disclosure agreement).
If you are selected, playtesting is estimated to take between a few hours and the full day. Those that are selected for the programme will get a gift card and a Remedy swag bag.
If you're interested in signing up, you can do so on the Remedy website, HERE!
