With the year quickly wrapping up, award season is now in full swing! On November 4th, Develop will be holding the annual Develop: Star Awards, this time with a secure, virtual event.
During the evening, they will be celebrating the amazing games released within a twelve-month period. For their 2020 awards, they are looking at titles published between the beginning of April 2019 to the end of May 2020 which, of course, puts Control in for consideration!
The nominations have gone live with Control getting five nominations including Best Visual Art (alongside Assemble With Care, Dreams, Knights and Bikes, and Sayonara Wild Hearts), Best Narrative (alongside Disco Elysium, Heaven's Vault, INMOST, and Life is Strange 2), Best Audio (alongside Dreams, Knights and Bikes, Sayonara Wild Hearts and Total War: Three Kingdoms), Best Original IP (alongside Assemble With Care, Disco Elysium, Dreams, and What the Golf?), and finally Game of the Year (alongside Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Disco Elysium, Doom Eternal, and Dreams.)
