With travel and large gatherings almost impossible to safely arrange this year, PAX brought their annual convention to attendees with PAX Online. The week-long event was held in mid-September and was filled with discussions, competitions, playable demos for upcoming games and more, mirroring the content that PAX is known for. While the show floor was virtual, the event captured the core aspects of the convention and was well-received by attendees.
In case you missed any of the panels, for the past few weeks, the organisers have been busy publishing the talks to their YouTube channel. That means that if you missed the Control panel when it was aired, you have the chance to see it again.
The panel marked one year since Control launched on PS4, XBOX One and PC (via The Epic Store), and brought together a range of contributors who helped bring the title to life. Joining the panel was Sam Lake (Creative Director) and Mikael Kasurinen (Game Director), as well as actors Courtney Hope (Jesse Faden) and Matthew Porretta (Dr Casper Darling). In the hour-long broadcast, they took a look back the past twelve months and their experiences working on the title.
The session was moderated by a familiar face, Janina Gavankar, who Quantum Break fans may remember also hosted the live reading of Time Knife.
(For clarity, originally called "Control - Developing a Supernatural Mind Trip with Remedy", the panel was later changed to "Control - A Year Later. The Road to Developing an Award-Winning Supernatural Trip".)
