Last week, Amazon announced their new cloud gaming service, Luna, which will allow players to continue their virtual adventures on PC, mobile devices (via website apps) and on Amazon Fire.
Scheduled for an October release, Luna will be initially available only to US-residents while in early access with a limited (but expanding) library of games. Included in the launch line-up will be Control, which also featured prominently in their trailer (below)!
Other games coming to the service include Brothers, Yooka-Laylee Impossible Lair, Absu, Two Point Hospital, Overcooked 2, and Grid. A partnership with Ubisoft also sees titles such as Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Immortals: Fenyx Rising, and Far Cry 6 as soon as they launch.
The product will be a competitor to Google Stadia, providing users with a monthly service (initially $5.99 per month during the early access period). Players will be able to use their own keyboard and mouse, a Bluetooth game controller, the XBOX One controller, DualShock 4, and the official Luna controller ($49.99). With the basic Luna+ package, players can stream on two devices at a time, up to 1080p/60fps (with 4K coming soon).
