If you're interested in learning more about narrative design in video games, The Writers' Guild of Great Britain has a series of discussions coming up throughout this week including two speakers from Remedy's old narrative teams.
"Transmedia Tales: Switching Medium, or Platform in Videogame Narrative"
- First up is a discussion on "Transmedia Tales: Switching Medium, or Platform in Videogame Narrative" with Mikko Rautalahti. He previously worked at the Remedy in various roles but departed the studio as the Narrative Lead. He worked on games such as Alan Wake, The Signal DLC, The Writer DLC, Alan Wake's American Nightmare, Crossfire HD, and Quantum Break.
Joining Mikko is Richard Dansky, Corey Brotherson, Leah Muwanga-Magoye, with the discussion chaired by Antony Johnston.

- Later in the week, there's also the "Narrative Design – Breaking down and building up stories in an interactive environment" discussion, with Eevi Korhonen who previously worked at Remedy as a Game/Narrative Designer on Quantum Break, CrossFireX and Control.
Joining Eevi is Fred Francis, Jon Ingold, Kim MacAskill, with the discussion chaired by Brenden Gibbons.
