This year's D.I.C.E. Summit was a major one for Remedy with the three-day convention concluding with the annual awards ceremony which saw the developer take home a total of four trophies.

Control was one of the most nominated titles with eight nominations each across the twenty-three categories. The title was up against tough competition having been selected for the following categories:

At the end of the night, the Remedy development team took home four trophies: Action Game of the Year, Outstanding Achievement in Game Direction, Outstanding Achievement in Art Direction, and Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Composition.

In addition to the D.I.C.E Awards, there was, of course, the D.I.C.E Summit, where Thomas Puha (Communications Director) held two round table sessions focusing on Separating and Maintaining Your Studio Brand and Your Game IP.

There was also the return of Into The Pixel exhibition which featured two pieces of Control art, first revealed at E3 2019. The first is called The Hub, and it is an in-game screenshot credited to Remedy's Art Department. The artwork will be familiar to fans, as it has been used several times in promotional material having been one of the first released glimpses of the game. The second piece is entitled Mold-1 by Oliver Ödmark (Senior Concept Artist at Remedy); a previously unseen piece showcasing potentially one of the mysterious entities that Jesse will face in her mission to reclaim the FBC.

With media in attendance, a couple of sites published interviews with both Thomas and Juha Vainio (Executive Producer on Control)

In their interview with IGN, the developers revealed that work has almost completed on Control's first DLC pack, The Foundation, which is due to be released March 26th.
