Just a few moments ago, The National Academy of Video Game Trade Reviewers (NAVGTR) announced their winners of the 19th annual awards ceremony, which placed Control in top spot claiming the most awards out of any nominated title
Control was previously up for eight nominations, and today took home a hefty six wins, a challenging objective considering that they were up against some tough competition including from Death Stranding and The Outer Worlds, two other titles that scored favourably among critics.
This year, the team at Remedy took home awards in:
- Animation, Technical
- Art Direction, Contemporary,
- Control Design, 3D
- Direction in a Game Cinema
- Lighting and Texturing
- Graphics (Technical)
