Earlier this week, 505Games' Influencer Relations, Slate, held an eight-hour livestream to celebrate the launch of Control and to raise money for St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital. By the end of the broadcast, $4,250 was raised for the hospital, with viewer donations matched by 505Games!
During the livestream, Slate was joined was Sam Lake (Creative Director at Remedy), SachoWest (Twitch Personality), Courtney Hope (Lead Actor in Control), and Alanah Pearce (YouTube Personality). In case you missed it, you can catch it in full on the 505Games Twitch channel, HERE!
Normal Twitch viewers can check out the broadcast up to fourteen days after it aired, whereas Twitch Partners and Turbo subscribers can view it up to sixty days after it aired.
A bit about St Jude's Children's Research Hospital: The money raised from the event will go to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital which first opened its doors in February 1962 with the goal of researching childhood diseases previously believed to be incurable or dangerous and caring for the patients admitted to them.
