New faces joined Remedy this week with more arriving in the following days! As there's been so many job openings these past few months, this is by no means a complete list. But I wanted to share with you some of the new members announced through the studio's social media channels.
First up, we have a new Associate Community Manager! Her name is Vida Starčević who joins the company in time for Crossfire 2 and "P7". Her prior experience includes being a writer and production assistant for a mobile game company, Nanobit Ltd and writer for gaming magazine, Reboot. You can follow her on twitter: @vidaisonline.
A department which has seen a huge amount of change these past few months is the narrative team. Anna Megill joined the company as a Senior Writer last Summer and became the studio's Narrative Lead in the autumn, following Mikko Rautalahti's departure. She announced her new team last week which has taken four months in the making.
- Ben Gelinas is formally from BioWare having worked on titles such as Mass Effect 3, Mass Effect Andromeda, and Dragon Age Inquisition. Ben's latest game, delightfully titled Speed Dating for Ghosts, is due to come out this week!
- Brooke Maggs joins Remedy as a writer in residence, through the Film Vic Women In Games program. She has worked on titles including The Gardens Between, Paperbark, Florence, and Earthlight.
- Angel Leigh McCoy is joining Remedy already with a huge amount of experience in writing for games. Best known for her horror and dark fiction, she is an published author whose work stretches from novels, to video games (Guild Wars 2) and tabletop games.
- Clay Murphy also has a vast amount of video game writing experience, covering a wide range of IPs including Blade & Soul, Diablo: Reaper of Souls, StarCraft II: Heart of the Swarm, Heroes of the Storm, Mob Wars La Coas Nostra, Viking Clan, Zombie Slayer and Pirate Clan.
