Today is the fifth anniversary of The Sudden Stop! There's a special secret lined up for the future as the actual fifth year celebration, but to mark the actual day I wanted to arrange a giveaway.
In 2016, I bought a Kindle. I was pretty against ebooks for a long while until the convenience of having a backlit book clicked in. The first title I read on my tablet (using the Kindle App) was Quantum Break: Zero State and soon after I ordered a Kindle Paperwhite. I travel quite a bit so being able to escape the London Underground or endless queues by escaping into Riverport was a welcome distraction. Soon after Zero State and getting the Kindle, I just began reading a lot more, and it's been really nice. Which is why I wanted to include both Remedy novels in this giveaway.

Important Information: This competition is for the Kindle version of the Alan Wake [Novelisation] and of Quantum Break: Zero State. The books will be gifted to your Kindle (or tablet/mobile app if you have the Kindle App installed). The gift system is relatively new and so is currently only available for Amazon US accounts. If your Kindle is not connected to Amazon US unfortunately you won't be able to redeem the books through the site. If you have any questions, send me a message and I'll try to help!
The Prize
For this competition there will be two winners. One winner will win the book of their choice from a selection of two. There will be a draw from those interested in the Alan Wake book, and another for those interested in Zero State.
Official Synopsis for Alan Wake [Novelisation]:
Official Synopsis for Quantum Break: Zero State:
For this competition there will be two (2) winners who will receive one (1) prize each. (Don't worry we'll be offering more prizes in future competitions and giveaways. So if you don't win in this competition, there will be more chances!) As mentioned before, there will be two draws; one for Alan Wake, and another for Quantum Break: Zero State. Your entry into the draws will depend on the title you write in your entry. The winners will be chosen at random by Random.org. The winner will be contacted within one week of the competition finishing.
The competition will end Saturday 11th February 2017 at 13:00 GMT. (Watch out! The time is slightly earlier than previous giveaways!)

To be in with a chance of winning the Alan Wake or Quantum Break e-book, send us the name of the prize that you would like to own in a message. (If you would like to own either, you can include both titles in your entry.) For this giveaway there is a maximum of one entry per person, per book. Boring (but important!) Fine Print:
- You must be able to receive the Kindle e-book as a gift, so your Kindle account must be connected to Amazon US. You don't have to be in the US to be connected to Amazon US (for instance, if you have a Kindle registered in Finland, you buy your Kindle books from Amazon US.)
- Please note that this is an unofficial competition and is not connected to Remedy, Facebook, Google, Twitter, or Amazon. (I bought the books myself a few days ago.)
- Maximum of one entry per person, per book.
- This is open worldwide, but restrictions may apply on countries with limits on internet competitions. Please read the important notification at the top of the page about Kindle gifting!
- Entry is free.
- No cash prize alternative will be available. If there are issues redeeming the book, you can request a gift card from Amazon through their Customer Service (although it isn't guaranteed) to cover the cost of purchasing the book.
- You must have an Amazon account and Kindle/Kindle App (on your tablet or mobile) to enter so that the prize can be sent to you. (Setting up an account and app is free, and you don't need to have one at the time of entry, but you will need it to read the book.)
- A new winner may be picked if the first does not respond to the email after two weeks. Although this is only a last resort after three weeks with reminders and alternative methods of communication e.g. through social media posts.
- Competition begins on 4th February 2017 at 23:00 GMT and will end on 11th February 2017 at 13:00GMT.
- There will be 1 (one) winner who will receive a copy of Alan Wake [Novelisation] on Kindle, and one (1) winner who will receive a copy of Quantum Break: Zero State on Kindle.
- Entries collected through Facebook following the rules stated on 23rd August 2013, HERE.
