The Steam Autumn Sale is on! Not only does it bring hundreds of games with dramatic reductions but this sale also brings something a little more special. Offers end Tuesday November 29th at 10am Pacific.
First up the sale. All of Remedy's PC games including Death Rally, Max Payne, Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne, Alan Wake, Alan Wake's American Nightmare and Quantum Break have been reduced in price. The discounts range from 25% off to 70%, so if you haven't played all of the developer's titles yet, you may want to take a look. Click on the games titles that you're interested in above to be transported to their store page on Steam.
Next up the awards. This sale brings the first ever Steam Awards. There are nine categories which gamers can nominate their favourite titles for. Unlike most gaming awards, Steam takes a more light-hearted tone to their catergories. Titles like "Just 5 More Minutes" can show a game's immersive virtual world or gameplay, "I'm Not Crying, There's Something in My Eye" shows how the title can emotionally drag us in. Personally I did vote for two Remedy games in the categories, along with some other favourites; Life is Strange, Stardew Valley and Inside. I nominated Alan Wake for "Test of Time" as it's one I frequently go back to. And I nominated Quantum Break for "Villain Most in Need of a Hug" for obvious Serene related reasons.
