Recently Poets of the Fall, the real life band behind Old Gods of Asgard, announced a new compilation album. The collection features video game music that the group has created over the years, for titles such as Alan Wake and Rochard (from Recoil Games).
The album is called Old Gods of Asgard: Memory Thought Balance Ruin / Rochard Complilation Album and is available from iTunes now.
If you've been following Remedy's adventures for a while now, chances are that you're already very familiar with the band. Their first song, Late Goodbye, appeared in Max Payne 2: The Fall of Max Payne. Later, for Alan Wake, they created Children of the Elder God and The Poet and the Muse. Their song, War, from their album Twilight Theater, also appeared in the game's later episodes. They returned again. two years later, for Alan Wake's American Nightmare with a new custom song, Balance Slays the Demon and a new song from Temple of Thought called The Happy Song.
