If you're planning a trip to Quo Vadis in Berlin, 21st - 23rd April, Matias Myllyrinne (CEO at Remedy) will be taking part in two lectures.
We Shall Not Cease From Exploration - Remedy and Firsts
The first is a behind the scenes look at twenty years of history for the developers; from the early days of Death Rally, the release and success of Max Payne and Alan Wake, as well as Quantum Break's development. It sounds like a great lecture for any fan of the company.
Matias Myllyrinne goes through 20 years of gaming history and explains how Remedy – the creators of Max Payne, Alan Wake and Death Rally – have learned by doing things for the first time. For more information, check out the lecture's page on the Quo Vadis website, HERE.
Production Panel: From Zero to 300 - How to build big teams and keep the vision in Triple A Games (TBA)
Matias will also be attending a panel to discuss the structure for companies developing AAA titles. He will be joined by Michael Condrey (Sledgehammer Games), Dorian Kiekn (Bioware), Christopher Schmitz (Quantic Dream) and Harald Riegler (Sproing).
Details about this lecture is still being finalised. For more information, check out the lecture's page on the Quo Vadis website, HERE.
