For the past five years, Community Manager Appreciation Day has taken place on the fourth Monday in January. It's a day which recognizes the people who build a bridge of communication between a company and the audience. The video game industry is one of the most challenging; there are so many ways of interaction whether that would be through email, social media accounts, at gaming events or on the forums. There are marketing plans which must run on schedule, and an important line between information which can be released and which can't, balancing that with keeping the community interested and involved, it's a challenge!
I would like to say thank you to Lauri, our Community Manager at Remedy for all his hard work this past year and for keeping the fans up to date with the latest news from the developers.
