Something to help brighten your day...
A few hours ago, Geoff Keighley confirmed that Quantum Break will be shown at this year's VGX (formally VGA) and there will also be new gameplay footage!
It was rumoured for a long while, and was recently brought up in a recent interview with Microsoft's Phil Spencer. The confirmation comes in the form of a Twitter post:
VGX, formally known as VGA, is an annual award ceremony focusing on the
video game industry. With its new name comes a list of new additions;
there will be new gameplay footage from upcoming titles, developer
panels and 1-1 interviews. It's a cool new change, and it's going to be
interesting to see how well it turns out!
The show goes live on 7th
December 2013 starting at 6:00 PM ET / 3:00 PM PT, and will last for
three hours. The event will be broadcasted live across a number of
platforms including XBOX360, XBOX One and PS3. It will be shown worldwide, and closer to the date I'll make sure you know exactly where to go online and what time the show starts.
(Major thanks to argula for posting about the news on the Remedy boards!)
UPDATE #1: Keighley has confirmed on Twitter that the footage will not be played live. Source.
