The FreeCam option on the PC version of Alan Wake is a fascinating addition. Not only does it allow fans to take control of the camera and search for lost or hidden locations, but it can also be used to create some stunning screenshots! It's always great to see what fans come up with as a result of this feature.
You may have seen JLBiggs' work on Tumblr, especially if you follow the Alan Wake tag. He posts some incredible Alan Wake screenshots using the FreeCam option. Some featuring the character; showing the scope of the enviroment in relation to human preportion. Whereas others focus solely on the beautiful sights of Bright Falls.
Picking my absolute favourite from the set is incredibly difficult, but at the moment it's a fight between the shot from the shelf looking through the golden guns award, and the sun setting over Bird Leg Cabin.
He has not only focused on Alan Wake but on numerous other games including Skyrim, Bioshock, Portal 2, HALO, Mirror's Edge and more. His work is definitely worth checking out, and you can see his entire collection on his Tumblr page, HERE.
