The Reddit thread follows Sam's video announcement yesterday in which he expands and provides perspective on why the developers are currently working on Quantum Break and not Alan Wake 2. If you missed the video you can catch it again by clicking HERE. Additionally Remedy's CEO, Matias Myrllrinne announced a little while ago that Sam will also be taking part in an upcoming podcast with Major Nelson. I'll archive the Reddit discussion on this website after the event, and I'll also post links to the podcast once it becomes available.
Personally, I love Remedy's dedication to their fans, especially as many game developers would have just ignored the issue until they announced that they were making a sequel. What Remedy has been doing recently has been really quite touching and honest, especially when they were talking about Remedy's financial situation. And what Sam has been doing is by no means easy, especially as he's been providing a human voice to the situation, and acting as a bridge between the developers and a group of fans who were not expecting the recent announcement.
