The Writer - Information

The Writer is the second DLC pack by Remedy, released on 12th October on XBOXLIVE for 560 Microsoft Points. The pack carries on the story from the first DLC pack, The Signal. Alan is detirmined to make sense of everything that is happening as he travels across a distorted Bright Falls which compiles his nightmares and fragments of his memory into a twisted horror.

To download the DLC:

• Go to the "Game Marketplace" section on your XBOX360
• Click the first option, "Explore Game Content"
• Move up to the "Add-On & Extras" section. 
• Click on the "Add-On" option
• Move up to "Titles A-Z" secton
• Click on A and find "Alan Wake"
• Move across to the "Extras" tab
• Click on "See All Extras" at the bottom of the page
• Move down to find "Alan Wake: The Writer" with the XBOX controller beside it.
• Click on it, you can now purchase the DLC pack.

In the game, it's not only the environment or the Taken that will kill you but also Alan's imaginary constructs. There are several great moments in the game, and in my opinion the best of the two DLC packs.
