Planted next to the Witch's Hut, the sign warns those visiting that she is still roaming.
Text: "The Witch's Hut. Here lived the Witch of Cauldron Lake. Beware - her spirit may still haunt this place."
The final line on the sign is a reference to the Old Gods of Asgard song, The Poet and The Muse, from the original game. The full lyrics are, "Now if it's real or just a dream / One mystery remains / For it is said, on moonless nights / They may still haunt this place." The song is first heard when Alan and Barry enter the Anderson Farm and switch on the power, triggering the song to play throughout the building.
The Witch's Hut is different to The Witch's Cabin; the latter is Bird Leg Cabin, situated in the middle of Diver's Isle, which was taken by the waves during a volcanic eruption in the 1970s.
