Last night, Remedy and 505Games revealed their latest project during Sony's E3 Media Briefing. Previously referred by it's codename "P7" or "Project 7", Control is a third-person action-adventure title with otherworldly elements and awe-inspiring scenes.
In the game, you play as Jesse Faden, the new Director, as she goes on a personal quest looking for answers in an ever-shifting New York building.
The game's announcement was kept a secret until the reveal trailer was shown during the Sony Briefing, to a hugely positive reception. You can check out the full E3 trailer below:
Jesse is played by Courtney Hope who Remedy fans may recognise as Beth Wilder from Quantum Break. While the developers have talked about the Remedy-Multiverse in previous interviews, Control is a brand new IP in collaboration with 505Games.
With the new game reveal comes a list of new bookmarks! There's a new website (controlgame.com), a new Twitter channel (@ControlRemedy), and a new Facebook page (Control - Remedy). You can view new official screenshots of the title over on our Flickr gallery.
Control will launch in 2019 on Playstation 4, PC (via Steam), and XBOX One. Keep visiting back for more information in the lead up to the launch!
